CamCORS Update
Release of CamCORS 7
Update: 18 January 2024
CamCORS 7 was released at 9am on 15th January 2024 and can be accessed at the following web address
You can check which payment options you have by looking at the Payment Preferences section on your Personal Details page. If you have the “Direct payment” option but it does not show on a report then you should enter the IBAN for your bank account in the Bank Details section.
If you have no option by which you can get paid then re-register at https://apps.casc.cam.ac.uk/supervisor-application. By re-registering you should gain an option by which you can be reimbursed. This may be direct payment and/or via College payroll.
For most Supervisors registration is quick and automatic. For some their College will need to approve.
More details about CamCORS 7, including the main differences between CamCORS 6 and 7 can be found on the documentation pages

Registration will be a series of questions about your employment status. It is necessary to ensure that we comply with employment law, amongst other things.
If your supervisor registration lapses, as long as you have a Raven account you will be able to login to CamCORS and view historic reports and payment information.
You can apply for a supervisor account here
We need a period during which changes are not made to CamCORS data so that we can migrate data from v6 to v7. It is difficult to make any application read-only but especially so when we do not maintain the v6 code.
Data will be migrated from v6 to v7 so you will be able to see your records for at least the past 7 years. However, any records that you wish to keep should be downloaded anyway, as you will not have access if you lose your Raven account.
CamCORS version 6 was developed and is currently supported by an external company. CamCORS is not a key product for the company and they can no longer offer the level of support that the Colleges require. CamCORS 6 is old and is not written to modern standards of usability or in easily maintainable technologies.
CASC are currently creating a replacement in collaboration with the Colleges via a project board and user group. All software development and ongoing support will be brought into CASC to provide a better and more flexible service around online student reporting.
You can contact the CASC helpdesk on casc@ois.cam.ac.uk, or keep checking this webpage for any updates. CASC are currently working on a communications plan that will include more detailed messages, training and workshops.
